Zoom Phone Quick Start Guide

This guide helps you start using your Zoom Phone service, whether you use the Zoom app or a physical desk phone.

  • Open the Zoom app on your computer or phone
  • Sign in with your work or school Zoom account

  • Click "Phone" at the top of the app
  • Here you can make calls, check voicemails, and see call history

  • Type a number or name
  • Click to start the call

  • A pop-up will appear when someone calls
  • Click "Accept" to answer or "Decline" to ignore

  • Go to the voicemail section under "Phone"
  • Click on a message to listen or delete it

  • While on a call, click "Transfer"
  • Type in the name or number you want to transfer to
  • Choose to speak to them first or transfer immediately

  • Click your profile picture and go to settings
  • Set where you want your calls to go (like your mobile phone)

Tip: You can use Zoom Phone over Wi-Fi, data, or your phone network.

  • Pick up the phone or press the speaker button
  • Dial the number
  • Press the call button if needed

  • Pick up the phone or press the answer button when it rings

  • Press the voicemail or message button on the phone
  • Enter your code (PIN) if asked
  • Follow the instructions to listen or delete messages

  • Press the transfer button while you're on a call
  • Dial the number you want to send the call to
  • Press the transfer button again

  • Press the hold button during the call
  • Press it again to return to the call

  • Use the menu or settings on your phone to forward calls
  • You can also do this in the Zoom app or website
