During Open Enrollment, you can:
- Change your medical and/or dental plan
- Add or remove eligible dependents
- Cancel your existing medical, dental or vision plan(s)
- Enroll in a medical, dental or vision plan, if currently waived
- Enroll or change volume in voluntary life and/ore accident death and dismemberment insurance plans
- Begin or re-certify cash-in-lieu status – Annual certification is required
- Enroll or re-enroll in a flexible spending account (FSA) – Annual enrollment is required to continue to participate each year
- For the PERS Platinum PPO, employee contributions have increased across all groups. Be sure to check the 2026 rate sheets for specific changes to other medical plans.
- Effective January 1, 2026, CVS Caremark (CVS) will replace OptumRx as the new pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) for all plans except Kaiser HMO, Blue Shield HMO Access+, and Blue Shield HMO Trio.
- Health Care Flexible Spending Account annual election limit is $3,300 for 2026
- Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account annual election limit is $7,500 for 2026
