The West Valley-Mission Community College District is seeking members for its Measure C Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). This independent, volunteer committee provides public oversight for the District’s bond-funded construction projects. It meets quarterly to receive and review financial reports and construction status reports and issues an annual report to the public and the Board of Trustees on its conclusions. More information on CBOC and its work, along with an application, can be found at http://wvm.edu/group.aspx?id=72.
CBOC currently has the following vacancies:
•One member active in a District/College support organization, such as a foundation.
•One member active in a business organization representing the business community located within the District.
•One student enrolled and active in a community college support group, such as student government.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and may not be an employee of the District, official of the District, or any vendor, contractor, or consultant of the District.
